iDbM Inc. was founded in 1997, with a world-class staff experienced in product development; relational database management; manufacturing management , application development; management accounting; and MRP analysis and reporting. iDbM Inc (Internet Databases for Manufacturing), with its strong background in inventory control , has the explicit mission to develop and publish affordable ERP and Warehouse Inventory Management products for small to mid-size companies..

By the time of iDbM Inc.'s founding, development efforts were underway to create an ERP product "from the ground up," a product that would embody all the features and benefits that the small manufacturers market demanded, as well as overcoming real limitations that hampered predecessor ERP products. The fruit of these development efforts was Simply ERP, an ERP product that went far beyond existing capabilities offered by current MRP technologies

To develop world class products iDbM recognized the strategic viability of choosing world class technology partners thus Since 2000 iDbM Inc has partnered with Microsoft as an Independent Software Vendor (ISV)Business partner and in 2001 partnered with Symbol Technologies. Both partnerships have benefited the evolution of the Simply ERP product line and the creation of iDbM s' wireless mobility solution for warehouse inventory control called WIM (Warehouse Inventory Management).
